Reflections on the American Psychiatric Association Conference '24

This past month, our entire team—comprising our Co-Founders Dominik and Efren, our Medical Director Dr. Christina Girgis, and our Clinical Operations Lead Keerthana—had the pleasure of hosting a booth at the American Psychiatric Association conference in New York City.

Over five days, we engaged with distinguished psychiatrists from across the country, discussing their clinical needs and identifying ways our platform could better serve both patients and providers. In addition to hosting a booth, we co-sponsored RAMHT 2024 (Rapid Acting Mental Health 2024), where we connected with other innovators in the mental health space and gained insights into the barriers hindering the delivery of mental healthcare today.

This was our company’s first time attending the APA conference and we were greatly encouraged by the positive feedback from mental health providers and their enthusiasm for incorporating our platform into their daily practice. We were repeatedly moved by the awe and excitement shown by mental health professionals upon seeing our platform for the first time. While many had heard of about AI, few realized the profound impact an AI-based platform like mdhub could have on their daily routines.

At mdhub, we are dedicated to transforming healthcare delivery and enhancing the efficiency and work-life balance of clinicians worldwide. We believe our platform is invaluable in any healthcare setting, and we recognize the significant time and energy psychiatrists currently devote to clinical documentation. This understanding drives our commitment to attending similar conferences in the future, gathering feedback to identify unmet needs, and continuously improving our platform. So, if you find yourself at a mental health conference in the future, please stop by our booth. We'd love to share our vision for the future of mental healthcare with you!
